The Digital Synthesis and Catalysis Lab

Welcome to the webpage of the Digital Synthesis and Catalysis Lab at the University of Wuppertal! Our young research group, led by Felix Strieth-Kalthoff, aims to accelerate the discovery of new sustainable catalytic reactions through the integration of digitization and artificial intelligence. Our research adopts a hybrid experimental–computational approach, situated at the intersection between synthetic chemistry, lab automation, and machine learning. The mission of our diverse and interdisciplinary team is to develop digitals tools that are practical and directly applicable in the lab – and to use them in our laboratories for discovering new catalytic transformations!
