PhD Position available from Summer '25!

Our lab invites applications for a funded PhD student in data-driven catalyst design.

Starting in Summer 2025, our lab has an open, funded position for a PhD student focused on computational and data-driven methods for catalyst design. The project will center on the development of computational and machine learning techniques for designing homogeneous catalyst systems, with a particular focus on ligand design. While the work will be primarily computational, close collaboration with experimental (wet-lab) researchers is expected.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline, and should have a background in programming (ideally Python), data science or machine learning. We are looking for a motivated and curious individual who is eager to work in a highly interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of new digital tools for the synthetic chemistry lab!
